Matt Kavanaugh (Penfield, NY/Penfield) (Penfield, NY/Penfield) who made his first start at goalie since back on September 22
nd at Farmingdale. Kavanaugh had been starting at midfield since, but was forced to play goalie when freshman
William Kopplin (Gales Ferry, CT/Ledyard) (Gales Ferry, CT/Ledyard) suffered a shoulder injury in a game earlier this week. Kavanaugh finished the game with six saves and eight goals against him, Kopplin started the game at defense instead and even picked up a shot on goal. The Golden Eagles used two goalies in this one with sophomore
Mark Tripi (Miller Place, NY/Miller Place) picking up the win in the first half with five saves and no goals against him.
The Privateers will close out the season on Monday when they travel to Purchase, NY to take on the Valiants of Manhattanville College in a game that was originally scheduled to be the first game of the season but was postponed due to rain.
